sexy legsGreat thighs are underrated. Single handedly, they play the star role in creating and maintaining the sexiness of legs. When working out, It’s important to focus on all of the major thigh muscles to achieve amazing tone and sexiness. Below you’ll find more information on how you can tone and strengthen all of these major muscles in your daily workout.

First, before you start any type of workout, the most important thing to do is get your muscles going slowly. Without a proper warm up, you’re muscles are prone to painful pulls and unwanted stretches. When you get going, rotate your joins and do some quick and easy cardio to get your heart pumping as well.

As soon as you are all warmed up, you can do your squats, lunges and leg lifts. These three exercises all target different parts of the thigh, but when worked evenly into a daily exercise routine, can help you achieve sexy legs. Squats are great because they exercise many different muscles at the same time. Starting with your feet as far apart as your hips, bend your body into a sitting position, keeping your thighs lateral to the floor, and then stand up again. Keep going with these and start holding light free weights for an added challenge. The next exercise in your workout are the lunges, which will tone your hamstrings and quadriceps. Again assuming the starting position you held with your squats, take a huge step forward with your right leg and bend your leg to be perfectly lined up with your ankle below it. You can continue these while walking around or just staying in one spot going forward and backwards. Lastly, are your leg lifts which are going to tone the sides of your thighs. These can be done laying down or standing up and with or without stretch bands to increase the resistance of the exercise. When you’re finished with your leg lifts, pat yourself on the back for a completed thigh work out. Before you move on to cardio, make sure to stretch for a good 5-10 minutes. Stretching, similar to warming up, improves your body’s flexibility and helps prevent unwanted muscle pulls or sprains.

Keep in mind that your cardio and muscle workouts will produce the best results when done together. Cardio is important for burning fat and boosting your metabolism, while your muscle workouts are what’s going to give you strength and tone. For best results, combine your workouts as often as you can by taking the stairs instead of the elevator and taking a hilly route versus a flat one.

The most important thing to remember about your workouts is to be patient. Start small and work your way up. Rushing through repetitions and weights could prove to hurt you more than help you so take every part of your workout in moderation.
