Master Cleanse- Three Phases of Master Cleanse Diet Program

As mentioned in the previous article that Master cleanse is essentially a lemonade diet plan for detoxification and weight loss effects. Though it seems to be a very simple procedure, it must be followed in a phase wise manner. You can start your lemonade diet any time of the day but your body may not be ready to accept it immediately therefore you must prepare your body before stopping the intake of solid food.

Master cleanse detoxification program can be divided into three phases. The first phase is the preparation phase which is very important if you are tying this detoxification process for the first time. The second phase is the lemonade diet program and the last phase is getting back to normal diet.

Phase 1 (Ease In) – As you prepare yourself for a master cleanse detoxification program, it is essential that your body responds to the diet positively. In order to start the program, you must eliminate processed and refined food from your diet on the first day of the Master cleanse program. On the second day you can take different kind of juices, soups and other liquid diet. On the third day of phase I, you can just drink orange juice and plain water for the whole day.

Phase 2 (Lemonade Diet) – Once your body is prepared for the detoxification program, it is time to start the actual master cleanse process with Lemonade diet. You need to drink 6-12 glasses of lemonade throughout the day. This diet must be continued for two weeks unless some complications arise. Lemonade diet helps you detoxify your whole body and sheds a lot of fat from your body very easily.

Phase 3 (Ease Out) – This is just the reverse of the first phase. You must not start gorging on all kinds of junk food immediately after your master cleanse diet is over. If you start eating normal food too soon, you will gain back your weight very fast. The best way to get the benefits of master cleanse diet is to start your normal diet slowly. Once you stop taking lemonade diet, go for orange juice, soups and other mixed fruit juice. Start taking normal food only after 3 days of ending your master cleanse program.
