All you need to do is spend an hour or so and calculate the calories you need and the amount of calories you actually consume. Just make a list of food items that can be replaced by low calorie diet.  Once you start monitoring your eating habits; you will not have to put any extra effort in maintaining it.

A noteworthy point here is that you need not suppress your taste buds all the time. You can eat your favorite, tasty and junk food every 10-15 days without feeling guilty but the point is you must not exceed the limits once you set your weight loss goals.  Replacing junk food with nutritious and tasty food takes some efforts therefore you must spend some time on the internet to find out the best replacement of your junk foods.

Burning Calories: As mentioned above you can achieve some quick weight loss results if you can manage to burn extra calories by some day to day physical activities. Any weight loss expert or gym instructor will advise you that climbing stairs is one of the best cardio vascular exercises. If you can manage your time properly; taking stairs will help you shed weight very easily. Try to avoid elevators as and when you can.

You can also try mopping the floor or mowing the lawn. These simple activities are great calorie burners. Not only will you lose weight but will also tone your muscles if you make these activities a part of your routine. Just prepare a weight loss plan and start following it.
