
When I was younger, I was slim and healthy like most women my age. I played a lot of sport and had a lot of fun. Those were the good old carefree days. But then, only a few short years later, my life changed completely. I went through some personal problems and in just three short years my weight ballooned from a petite 120 pounds to a whopping 170 pounds! From being slim, fit and healthy, I became grossly overweight. I hated looking at myself in the mirror and dreaded shopping for new clothes – it just reminded me how fat and unsightly I had become.
